“Rise & Shine!” –the phrase that can make me so happy knowing its the start of a brand new day, but also a reminder that its way too a.m. for me right now. In order for me to start my day productively, I started making a morning smoothie packed with lots of healthy goodness.

The ingredients I used to make this smoothie were based off of what I needed the most boost in. My main reason for starting a morning smoothie was to find a yummier way to intake more biotin & collagen rather than swallowing 4 huge pills a day. I have definitely noticed a difference in my reduced fatigue & softer complexion.

Below is a little background info of Biotin, Collagen, & Amino Acids

Collagen is the most abundant protein in our lives & is basically the “glue” that helps hold our bodies together. It gives our skin strength & elasticity. I started using the brand Vital Proteins Collagen Beauty Greens to get my daily dose. A few of the many benefits of collagen are such:

  2. Amino Acids (2 pills opened)
  3. Trader Joes Biotin (2 pills opened)
  4. Reduced Fat Peanut Butter (1 tablespoon for taste)
  5. Half a Banana
  6. Mixed Frozen Berries (1 cup)
  7. Low Fat Vanilla Yogurt (1 cup)
